By Zoning Ordinance:
Every pool twenty four inches (24") or more below ground, every pool three feet (3') or more above ground......
Must have zoning permit and comply with front, side and rear yard setbacks.
In the absence of a building permit - zoning regulates safety barriers, gates and access ladders.
FEE: $30.00
By Uniform Construction Code:
Every pool, spa or hot tub that has twenty four inches (24") of water or more.....
Must have building permit, electrical inspection and safety barrier inspection.
If deck is used or constructed, it must be inspected.
APPROXIMATE FEE: $150.00 - $200.00
Temporary, Inflatable Pools:
Permits required per above.
If installed each year in the exact location as previous year and electrical installation is permanent and safety barrier installation is permanent.....no annual permits and inspections required.
If pool, spa or hot tub location is changed in any way - repeat permit process.
If inflatable pool is forty eight inches (48") or more above ground, it acts as its own barrier. If taken down in winter and reinstalled next season.....Safety barrier inspection needed.
APPROXIMATE FEE: $100.00
When can I burn?
All outside burning within the Township shall be unlawful from 12:01 A.M. Sunday to 6:00 A.M. Tuesday, throughout the entire year.
Subject to the provisions of Sections 2 (a), outside burning of rubbish, refuse and other waste matter is permitted only during the following times:
- At all hours from December 1st through April 30th.
- On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. from May 1st through November 30th.
- On Saturdays from 6:00 A.M. to 12:00 Midnight from May 1st through November 30th.

When is recycling and what can I recycle?
Recycling is the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Please see Township Offices, Recycling section of the website for more information.
