On Saturday May 4^th, 2013, the New Sewickley Township Police Department, in cooperation with the Big Knob Elementary PTA, held a bicycle rodeo at the Big Knob Elementary School. 
Prior to the Bicycle Rodeo, On May 3^rd, 2013, Patrolman Thomas A. Liberty instructed each student at Big Knob Elementary School on bicycle safety and provided each student with a bicycle safety activity booklet. 
During the rodeo, each percipient was proved with a new bicycle helmet, provided by Big Knob Elementary PTA and a coupon for a free cookie at Giant Eagle, courtesy of Children’s Hospital as a reward for wearing a helmet.      

After the rodeo, four bicycles were raffled off.  The winners were.
