The Township purchased 80.5 acres from Mr. Rolland Richardson in 1965 for construction of Green Valley Park.  In l982, Mr. Blake Walker donated an additional 8.7 acres.  The Park now consists of athletic fields for baseball, softball and soccer, play areas for children and picnic shelters that may be reserved.  Information on reserving shelters may be obtained by calling Valerie Dietrich at 724-728-2914.

New Addition to Green Valley Park

The Recreation Board is please to anounce that Green Valley Park now has a beautiful gazebo.  The gazebo has been placed in the clearing on the hill near the memorial site.  The spot is an ideal area for pictures.  You may contact Valerie Dietrich at 724-728-2914 for prices if you would be interested in renting the gazebor for a wedding or photo session.

The New Sewickley Township Recreation Board will be selling bricks to landscape the gazebo.  You can purchase these bricks in honor of someone or in memory of a loved one.  Your donor's name or inscription is literally "set in stone" for a lifetime.
