Proposed Ordinance

Please take notice  that the Board of Supervisors of New Sewickley Township will take action upon the following proposed ordinance at a meeting to be held on the 2nd day of September, 2010, 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 233 Miller Road, Rochester, Pa, of which this Notice is a summary:

Enactment of this Ordinance is required by the Pennsylvania Aviation Code and Federal Aviation Regulations.  The purpose of the proposed ordinance is to create an airport district overlay that considers safety issues around the Zelienople Airport, regulates and restricts the heights of constructed structures and objects of natural growth, creates appropriate zones, establishing the boundaries thereof and providing for changes in the restrictions and boundaries of such zones, creates the permitting process for use within said zones and provides for enfocement, assessment of violation penalties, an appeals process, and judicial review.  The Ordinance also amends the Zoning Map by adopting a Supplementary Airport Overlay Map.

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the New Sewickley Township Zoning Hearing Board will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. in the municipal building, 233 Miller Road, Rochester, PA  15074

The Board will hear and act upon a request of Danield Bunce, 310 Taffy Run Road, Rochester, PA 15074 for a variance to front setback.
